Little Hands and Feet

We got to see our newest family member on the ultrasound machine yesterday. It was amazing!  The baby is measuring 11 weeks. You could see little hands and feet really moving, waving, and being alive!  The heart was beating 171 beats per minute! Our almost 3 year old was so precious and he waved to the monitor!

When I came home I was interested to look up to see when typical abortions happen. I was shocked to find out that people could have an abortion up to 24 weeks! 

I am receiving weekly emails to see the size, stages of growth, and helpful tips for moms and dads. I am going over the information with the kids for homeschooling. It is amazing to see it in 3D!  Here is a picture of our baby’s size now. It is actually about 10 grams and 2 inches long! What a nice Mother’s Day gift to see the baby. My daughter said when we were leaving the appointment, “Mom what do you want for your birthday? A baby would be a great present!” She is right. Our little one will arrive just before my birthday.
