“At times there may be a need to enlist the help of some of these professionals in areas such as speech or physical therapy. However, the bulk of the teaching can be done by the parent, and is being done by parents across the nation very successfully!”
Listed on the HSLDA website is a wonderful list of resources that can serve you with your specific needs.
One of our sons had a speech therapist come to the house when he was 4 and tremendously changed his learning. He turned around the next year and was talking and singing up a storm! I was amazed. He has excelled in learning to read the earliest out of all of our kids and even went on to win 3rd place in our local Reading Rainbow Story Competition in Kindergarten! He trully has found his voice, now. I am so excited to hear the rest of the ideas and stories he will tell me or write in our school years to come.

I have posted some printable helps on the Homeschool Section. I hope to have more once the summer progresses.
Free Printables and Resources:

DonnaYoung.org offers free homeschool planners, school calendars, household planners, printables in various subjects, and homeschool planning tips.

Update: We are nearing the END OF THE YEAR. Like each year, we need to evaluate what has worked, what changes need to be made to go along with each child. I came across this link on Crosswalk.com that looks like it will help me with evaluations.

There are bowling allies across the US that are giving 2 free games a day to children. Children up to 15 could bowl 2 free games a day from June 1 – Aug 31. They did have to pay for shoes. Also, if you have children to sign up for the program there is a family pass starting for a one time fee of $23.95 for 4 adults to play 2 free games a day.
If you live near one that is offering this, this could be fun.
You do have to sign up before going and you get your passes for the week every Sunday morning.
